John Hornbaker, Director, Innovation Acceleration

Based in London, England, John Hornbaker is Director for Innovation Acceleration. He has a keen interest in innovation and product development in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments which is backed up by his experience of leading teams to deliver products to market since 1990. Through this he fully understands what it takes to make product development successful.

In all his roles John has consistently focused on the customer and the need to be responsive to the market, frequently working with limited resources. As an independent technology consultant in the United States, he worked with pre-revenue start-ups to develop product concepts, prototypes, and strategies in the enterprise space.

As Director of Product Development at VoteHere, he shaped product strategy and delivered several distinct e-voting products to market, including one based on an innovative, next generation cryptographic voting protocol. Prior to this, John worked at Footprints, a bespoke software development consultancy, and as an independent software developer for 10 years. In that time, he successfully rolled out more than 25 software applications to all manner of businesses, including Fortune 500 companies.
