Gareth Reakes, Director, Founder

Based in Oxford, England, Gareth Reakes is Founder and Managing Director and has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the business. He was formerly Head of Product Development at DecisionSoft. He managed all its products including the design and construction of new product developments, and integrated new ideas, processes and software to enhance productivity and accountability. He also had responsibility for winning new clients and advising on the management of existing client contracts.

Among his technical achievements were the development of an XML technology suite, clients of which included the Inland Revenue which used it as a core component of the UK government's online tax submission system. Gareth sits on the global project committee for XML products for Apache. He is also a regular speaker at XML conferences both in the USA and Europe and is technical reviewer for several leading XML publications.
