Parthenon has a wealth of experience in XML. Our staff have been involved in the creation of many XML standards:

• The financial reporting language XBRL,
• The financial products language FPML,
• The access control markup language XACML,
• The querying language XQuery,
• The Document Object Model DOM.

We speak at the major XML conferences, including XML America and XML Europe (now X-Tech), on subjects as varied as document validation, access control and the future development of standards.

However, we don't just write text for standards, we implement them too. Examples are:

• XPath and XQuery processors,
• SAML and XACML processors,
• SAX and DOM parsers,
• Transformation engines and schema validators.

Our staff contribute to major open source projects such as Pathan and Open SAML and we chair the Apache Xerces Project Management Committee.

We have used, and continue to use, more XML technologies than can be listed here, on many different projects with vastly differing requirements:
